New Office in Michigan Opens with Over 20 Professionals

MINNEAPOLIS --(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 25, 2024-- Piper Sandler Companies (NYSE: PIPR), a leading investment bank, is pleased to announce the addition of Robert Parker , Eric Van Dam and Kurt Haras as managing directors to its services & industrials investment banking team. They will join 18 additional professionals who will be based in a new Piper Sandler office located in Birmingham, Michigan .

Parker brings over 20 years of industry experience to Piper Sandler , most recently as managing director and global head of business services at TD Cowen . Previously, he was one of the founders of Quarton Partners , a middle-market advisory firm, that later became Quarton International and was eventually acquired by Cowen in 2019. Parker received a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan .

Van Dam joins the firm from TD Cowen where he was a managing director and focused on residential and commercial services. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan .

Haras, also joins from TD Cowen , where he was a managing director focused on M&A for various industries such as business services, distribution and industrial manufacturing. He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan .
