Christianson brings more than 27 years of experience in financial services and investment banking to the merchant banking group. He joined
Piper Jaffray
in 1998 and most recently served as global head of the
Piper Jaffray
capital advisory group, which includes the firm's equity private placement, financial restructuring and debt capital markets businesses. Christianson assumed management responsibility for the firm's private equity placement practice in 2001 and later established and assumed management responsibility for the capital advisory group in 2008. He also served in various senior leadership positions as a member of the firm's investment banking commitment committee, global group head council and the merchant banking investment advisory committee.
