Richard Shinder
as a managing director focused on financial restructuring and capital
advisory. He will help lead

from the firm’s

office and brings more than 20 years of
industry experience.
Most recently, Shinder was a managing director at
TPG Specialty Lending

where he was responsible for the origination and execution of special
situation direct corporate investments. Shinder was previously a partner
at
Perella Weinberg Partners
in its restructuring advisory group,
focused on financial restructuring, capital raising and strategic
advisory engagements. His assignments included Barneys New York,
Re/Max
Inc.
, Loehmann’s and
Accuride Corp.
, among others. Prior to Perella,
Shinder held several senior-level positions at
Goldman Sachs
, Merrill
Lynch and in the Blackstone Group’s restructuring and reorganization
group.
