He will cover the medical technology sector and will be based in the firm’s Milwaukee office.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler , Bednar was a senior research associate and vice president at Robert W. Baird & Co. where he covered the medical technology sector.

Bednar is joining a team of 12 analysts covering 227 stocks spanning across the healthcare sector – specialty pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, hospitals, managed care, distributors, medical technology and devices, medical diagnostics, life science tools, and healthcare services information technology.
